About Orihuela

Orihuela is a municipality in the province of Alicante/Alacant with 80,784 inhabitants, the 4th largest of its 141 municipalities. Its council has 25 seats, and 13 make a majority to choose the mayor.

In May 2023 PP came first with 38.6% of the vote and 10 seats; PSOE was second with 6. 64.6% of the 46,924 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
