Los Montesinos is a municipality in the province of Alicante/Alacant with 5,217 inhabitants, the 58th largest of its 141 municipalities. Its council has 13 seats, and 7 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSOE came first with 64% of the vote and 9 seats, an absolute majority; PP was second with 3. 66% of the 3,004 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps PSOE on 9 seats, a majority, which it holds in 100% of our simulations.
