Busot is a municipality in the province of Alicante/Alacant with 3,343 inhabitants, the 68th largest of its 141 municipalities. Its council has 11 seats, and 6 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PP came first with 72.2% of the vote and 9 seats, an absolute majority; PSOE was second with 2. 66.6% of the 2,192 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps PP on 8 seats, a majority, which it holds in 100% of our simulations.
