Coirós is a municipality in the province of A Coruña with 1,913 inhabitants, the 78th largest of its 93 municipalities. Its council has 9 seats, and 5 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PP came first with 67.2% of the vote and 6 seats, an absolute majority; B.N.G. was second with 2. 72.6% of the 1,607 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
