Sartrouville is a commune in Yvelines with 32,292 registered voters, the 2nd largest of the département's 259 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 46.8% of them voted, fewer than the 54.4% across Yvelines, and Sartrouville, j'aime ma ville won 38 of the council's 45 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 33.5%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 28.8%, National Rally 13.3%. France Unbowed did 12 points better here than across France.
