Neauphle-le-Château is a commune in Yvelines with 2,432 registered voters, the 86th largest of the département's 259 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 62.8% of them voted, more than the 54.4% across Yvelines, and the list led by Sandrine Kesler won 17 of the council's 23 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 39.2%, France Unbowed 16.9%, National Rally 14.3%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 12 points better here than across France.
