La Verrière is a commune in Yvelines with 2,846 registered voters, the 79th largest of the département's 259 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 55.6% of them voted, close to the 54.4% across Yvelines, and LA VERRIERE AVANCE ! won 24 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 50.7%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 20.6%, National Rally 11.5%. France Unbowed did 29 points better here than across France.
