Ville-sur-Illon is a commune in Vosges with 329 registered voters, the 162nd largest of the département's 506 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 80.5% of them voted, more than the 59.9% across Vosges, and BIEN VIVRE A VILLE-SUR-ILLON won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 36.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 27.3%, France Unbowed 10.6%. National Rally did 13 points better here than across France.
