Rives-d'Autise is a commune in Vendée with 1,657 registered voters, the 98th largest of the département's 253 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 65.9% of them voted, more than the 59.4% across Vendée, and AUTISIENS, AVANÇONS VERS DEMAIN won 19 of the council's 23 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 33.1%, National Rally 24.5%, France Unbowed 15.9%. France Unbowed did 6 points worse here than across France.
