Les Landes-Genusson is a commune in Vendée with 1,967 registered voters, the 75th largest of the département's 253 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 71.7% of them voted, more than the 59.4% across Vendée, and UNE ÉQUIPE POUR DEMAIN won 20 of the council's 23 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 42.6%, National Rally 21.3%, France Unbowed 10.1%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 15 points better here than across France.
