Callian is a commune in Var with 2,908 registered voters, the 66th largest of the département's 153 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 38% of them voted, fewer than the 58% across Var, and VIVRE CALLIAN won 29 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 32.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 22.2%, France Unbowed 15.2%. National Rally did 9 points better here than across France.
