About Besse-sur-Issole

Besse-sur-Issole is a commune in Var with 2,770 registered voters, the 69th largest of the département's 153 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 64.7% of them voted, more than the 58% across Var, and the list led by Paul Bruletti won 18 of the council's 23 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 36.7%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 18.4%, France Unbowed 14.7%. National Rally did 13 points better here than across France.
