Montigny-lès-Cormeilles is a commune in Val-d'Oise with 12,847 registered voters, the 21st largest of the département's 183 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 50.1% of them voted, close to the 50.1% across Val-d'Oise, and ENSEMBLE POUR MONTIGNY won 29 of the council's 35 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 43.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 21.8%, National Rally 16.2%. France Unbowed did 21 points better here than across France.
