Bouqueval is a commune in Val-d'Oise with 207 registered voters, the 156th largest of the département's 183 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 42% of them voted, fewer than the 50.1% across Val-d'Oise, and BOUQUEVAL AVEC PASSION won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 36.6%, France Unbowed 19.3%, Reconquête 13.8%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 15 points worse here than across France.
