Grugny is a commune in Seine-Maritime with 511 registered voters, the 284th largest of the département's 707 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 70.8% of them voted, more than the 56.1% across Seine-Maritime, and ENSEMBLE POUR GRUGNY won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 40.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 23.6%, France Unbowed 12.7%. National Rally did 17 points better here than across France.
