Vimpelles is a commune in Seine-et-Marne with 428 registered voters, the 334th largest of the département's 506 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 70.6% of them voted, more than the 51.6% across Seine-et-Marne, and ENSEMBLE POUR L'AVENIR won 14 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 46.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 14.9%, France Unbowed 14.3%. National Rally did 23 points better here than across France.
