Saint-Soupplets is a commune in Seine-et-Marne with 2,421 registered voters, the 87th largest of the département's 506 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 64.8% of them voted, more than the 51.6% across Seine-et-Marne, and SAINT SOUPPLETS POUR TOUS won 24 of the council's 27 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 34.6%, France Unbowed 20.5%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 19.8%. National Rally did 11 points better here than across France.
