Emerainville is a commune in Seine-et-Marne with 5,017 registered voters, the 46th largest of the département's 506 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 52.6% of them voted, close to the 51.6% across Seine-et-Marne, and the list led by Christophe Quinion won 21 of the council's 29 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 30.2%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 28.7%, National Rally 17.7%. France Unbowed did 8 points better here than across France.
