Mulsanne is a commune in Sarthe with 3,933 registered voters, the 11th largest of the département's 350 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 47% of them voted, fewer than the 55.4% across Sarthe, and Mulsanne Naturellement won 29 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 29.9%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 28.6%, France Unbowed 18.2%. National Rally did 6 points better here than across France.
