Pézilla-la-Rivière is a commune in Pyrénées-Orientales with 3,193 registered voters, the 31st largest of the département's 226 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 69.7% of them voted, more than the 61.5% across Pyrénées-Orientales, and UNIS POUR PÉZILLA won 21 of the council's 27 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 37.5%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 19.6%, France Unbowed 16.2%. National Rally did 14 points better here than across France.
