Osséja is a commune in Pyrénées-Orientales with 863 registered voters, the 82nd largest of the département's 226 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 65.5% of them voted, more than the 61.5% across Pyrénées-Orientales, and UNIS POUR OSSEJA won 13 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.5%, National Rally 25%, France Unbowed 19.1%. Others did 3 points better here than across France.
