At the municipal election of March 2026 75.4% of them voted, more than the 61.5% across Pyrénées-Orientales, and ENSEMBLE TOUT SIMPLEMENT POUR ARBOUSSOLS MARCEVOL won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 37.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 20.6%, National Rally 15.7%. France Unbowed did 15 points better here than across France.
