Uhart-Cize is a commune in Pyrénées-Atlantiques with 604 registered voters, the 147th largest of the département's 545 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 61.1% of them voted, close to the 62.5% across Pyrénées-Atlantiques, and UHART-CIZE, ENSEMBLE POUR DEMAIN. UHARTE-GARAZI, ELGARREKIN BIHARKO won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 22.5%, Others 18.9%, National Rally 17.4%. Others did 16 points better here than across France.
