Soumoulou is a commune in Pyrénées-Atlantiques with 1,187 registered voters, the 74th largest of the département's 545 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 54.5% of them voted, fewer than the 62.5% across Pyrénées-Atlantiques, and AGIR, CONSTRUIRE ENSEMBLE won 19 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.7%, France Unbowed 21.3%, National Rally 20.4%. Others did 8 points better here than across France.
