Souchez is a commune in Pas-de-Calais with 2,194 registered voters, the 121st largest of the département's 886 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 53.9% of them voted, fewer than the 60.3% across Pas-de-Calais, and SOUCHEZ PASSION won 23 of the council's 23 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 32.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 26.8%, France Unbowed 16.2%. National Rally did 9 points better here than across France.
