Desvres is a commune in Pas-de-Calais with 3,483 registered voters, the 86th largest of the département's 886 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 55.8% of them voted, fewer than the 60.3% across Pas-de-Calais, and ENGAGES POUR DESVRES won 22 of the council's 27 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 38.8%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 24.3%, France Unbowed 17.6%. National Rally did 15 points better here than across France.
