About Saint-Maximin

Saint-Maximin is a commune in Oise with 2,189 registered voters, the 49th largest of the département's 679 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 60.2% of them voted, more than the 55.4% across Oise, and the list led by Chahinaise Azouza won 18 of the council's 23 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 33.5%, France Unbowed 23.2%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 19.4%. National Rally did 10 points better here than across France.

Moved to today's national polls, our projection for the 2027 first round here has Marine Le Pen ahead on 46%, with Jean-Luc Mélenchon on 16.3%.
