At the municipal election of March 2026 48.9% of them voted, fewer than the 55.4% across Oise, and UN SOUFFLE NOUVEAU POUR SAINT-MAUR won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 53.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 21.5%, France Unbowed 10.8%. National Rally did 30 points better here than across France.
