About Wattignies

Wattignies is a commune in Nord with 9,687 registered voters, the 35th largest of the département's 647 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 53.5% of them voted, close to the 54.3% across Nord, and the list led by Frederic Faucomprez won 24 of the council's 33 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 30.3%, France Unbowed 28.2%, National Rally 20.1%. France Unbowed did 6 points better here than across France.
