Ostricourt is a commune in Nord with 4,105 registered voters, the 100th largest of the département's 647 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 33.3% of them voted, fewer than the 54.3% across Nord, and CONTINUONS ENSEMBLE OSTRICOURT won 29 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 33.6%, France Unbowed 31.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 16.6%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 11 points worse here than across France.
