Tenteling is a commune in Moselle with 836 registered voters, the 178th largest of the département's 724 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 40.7% of them voted, fewer than the 53.8% across Moselle, and "BIEN VIVRE A TENTELING-EBRING" won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 35.2%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 27.5%, France Unbowed 11.9%. National Rally did 12 points better here than across France.
