Denting is a commune in Moselle with 227 registered voters, the 491st largest of the département's 724 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 55.1% of them voted, close to the 53.8% across Moselle, and AGIR POUR DENTING won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 32.5%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 25%, Reconquête 10.6%. France Unbowed did 12 points worse here than across France.
