At the municipal election of March 2026 69.5% of them voted, more than the 61.6% across Morbihan, and Sauzon un cap commun pour demain won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 29.2%, France Unbowed 24.1%, National Rally 13.4%. National Rally did 10 points worse here than across France.
