Meslan is a commune in Morbihan with 1,200 registered voters, the 144th largest of the département's 248 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 67.3% of them voted, more than the 61.6% across Morbihan, and BIEN VIVRE A MESLAN ! won 14 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 32.6%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 21.6%, France Unbowed 19.8%. National Rally did 9 points better here than across France.
