Locmaria is a commune in Morbihan with 913 registered voters, the 173rd largest of the département's 248 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 58.1% of them voted, fewer than the 61.6% across Morbihan, and Locmaria pour tous won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 32.7%, France Unbowed 24.3%, National Rally 10.4%. National Rally did 13 points worse here than across France.
