Kani-Kéli is a commune in Mayotte with 4,134 registered voters, the 16th largest of the département's 17 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 77.7% of them voted, more than the 70.4% across Mayotte, and the list led by Assadillah Abdourahamani won 21 of the council's 29 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 61.3%, France Unbowed 16.8%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 8.9%. National Rally did 38 points better here than across France.
