About Rivière-Salée

Rivière-Salée is a commune in Martinique with 10,360 registered voters, the 10th largest of the département's 34 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 44.8% of them voted, fewer than the 47.8% across Martinique, and RASSEMBLEMENT SALEEN won 28 of the council's 33 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 55.9%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 15%, National Rally 12.2%. France Unbowed did 34 points better here than across France.
