About Macouba

Macouba is a commune in Martinique with 1,002 registered voters, the 32nd largest of the département's 34 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 70.3% of them voted, more than the 47.8% across Martinique, and MOUVEMENT AGIR POUR DEMAIN won 14 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 47.4%, National Rally 25.6%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 10%. France Unbowed did 25 points better here than across France.

Moved to today's national polls, our projection for the 2027 first round here has Marine Le Pen ahead on 34.4%, with Jean-Luc Mélenchon on 33.8%.
