Hémevez is a commune in Manche with 150 registered voters, the 364th largest of the département's 444 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 60.7% of them voted, more than the 57.8% across Manche, and Faire bon vivre à Hémevez won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.
