Villemurlin is a commune in Loiret with 404 registered voters, the 189th largest of the département's 325 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 63.9% of them voted, more than the 53% across Loiret, and ENSEMBLE VIVONS VILLEMURLIN won 13 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 39.7%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 22.1%, Reconquête 10.9%. National Rally did 16 points better here than across France.
