Bouvron is a commune in Loire-Atlantique with 2,420 registered voters, the 115th largest of the département's 207 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 68.2% of them voted, more than the 58.3% across Loire-Atlantique, and Ensemble Vivons Bouvron ! won 19 of the council's 23 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 29.1%, National Rally 22.9%, France Unbowed 21.4%. Reconquête did 4 points worse here than across France.
