At the municipal election of March 2026 69.5% of them voted, more than the 56.4% across Loir-et-Cher, and Ensemble pour Saint-Aignan won 18 of the council's 23 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 29.8%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 27.1%, France Unbowed 17.8%. National Rally did 6 points better here than across France.
