At the municipal election of March 2026 71.3% of them voted, more than the 63.7% across Landes, and La Nouvelle, Vivons Collectif ! won 27 of the council's 33 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 23.9%, France Unbowed 21.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 19.7%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 8 points worse here than across France.
