Mézos is a commune in Landes with 850 registered voters, the 96th largest of the département's 327 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 77.4% of them voted, more than the 63.7% across Landes, and UNIR ET AGIR POUR MÉZOS won 13 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
