Lacajunte is a commune in Landes with 108 registered voters, the 303rd largest of the département's 327 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 75.9% of them voted, more than the 63.7% across Landes, and Liste d'union Communale won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 36.8%, Others 25.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 18.4%. Others did 22 points better here than across France.
