About Les Avirons

Les Avirons is a commune in La Réunion with 10,036 registered voters, the 17th largest of the département's 24 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 67% of them voted, more than the 55.3% across La Réunion, and AVANÇONS won 25 of the council's 33 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 41.4%, National Rally 21.8%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 17%. France Unbowed did 19 points better here than across France.

Moved to today's national polls, our projection for the 2027 first round here has Marine Le Pen ahead on 32.7%, with Jean-Luc Mélenchon on 31.8%.
