About Foucherans
Foucherans is a commune in Jura with 1,512 registered voters, the 17th largest of the département's 490 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 63.2% of them voted, more than the 57.6% across Jura, and Foucherans c'est vous, c'est nous ! won 17 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 30%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 23%, France Unbowed 22.9%. National Rally did 7 points better here than across France.
