Roybon is a commune in Isère with 888 registered voters, the 249th largest of the département's 510 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 68% of them voted, more than the 55.5% across Isère, and Vivons Roybon ! won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 28.6%, France Unbowed 22.3%, National Rally 22%.
