Mens is a commune in Isère with 1,389 registered voters, the 173rd largest of the département's 510 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 83.4% of them voted, more than the 55.5% across Isère, and MENS A VENIR won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 33.9%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 19.9%, National Rally 17.5%. France Unbowed did 12 points better here than across France.
