Cholonge is a commune in Isère with 289 registered voters, the 416th largest of the département's 510 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 60.6% of them voted, more than the 55.5% across Isère, and Cholonge, aujourd'hui et demain won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 25.8%, France Unbowed 20.2%, Reconquête 11.6%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 19 points worse here than across France.
